Paula McCormick of Sunriver Community Garden

Rooted like a tree flourishing in the sunshine. Two things are certain when walking through the gates at Sunriver Community Garden, you will fall in love with how it makes you feel, and you will fall in love with Paula McCormick, Coordinator for the Grow A Row program at the garden. The place wouldn’t be the same without her. Paula say’s “the garden is growing and needs more volunteers to help out in keeping it,” which is a great place to cultivate one’s resume and life. I do volunteer there, and can vouch, it’s worth it. It’s nice knowing that all the work goes towards providing for community support of special organizations dedicated to feeding the needy.

Sunriver is a hidden Gem, if you haven’t been. The Garden has many different sections that make up it’s diversity including a wetlands area, and orchard and a healing garden along with the 100 or so rented plots members keep. Come talk to Paula and she would be happy to fill you in and welcome you to Sunriver. Thanks for being YOU Paula. You’re a GEM!
